Channel 12 gets 'flocked' for the Relay for LifeSubmitted: 07/16/2013
Story By Lyndsey Stemm

RHINELANDER - We got some surprise visitors here at the station last night. A flock of flamingoes parked on the Newswatch 12 front lawn, and decided to stay for the night.

It's a fundraising effort for the Northland Pines High School girls hockey team. All the money the team raises will go to the American Cancer Society.

The girls have a team in the upcoming Relay for Life. The race is August 2nd and 3rd in Eagle River.

The flock will be leaving the station to find a new place to roost. If you'd like to make a donation and "Flock" somebody, you can contact Cali at 715-479-1669.
