WESTBORO - Last night's deal in Congress reopened the federal government.

It also sent hundreds of thousands of employees back to work.

A large number of those people are in our nation's capital.

But the agreement is also good news for some small businesses in northern Wisconsin.

Mondeaux Dam Lodge in Taylor County will reopen tomorrow.

The lodge is located in the Chequamegon-Nicolet National Forest.

It also contracts with the National Forest to provide lodging, food, and recreation to visitors.

The shutdown had forced the lodge to close earlier this week.

But it will reopen Friday.

Mondeaux Dam Lodge will stay open for business through the end of gun-deer season in early December.
