Crandon boys win first golf team sectionalSubmitted: 06/04/2014

CRANDON - The Crandon Cardinals have qualified individual players in boys golf to state. But on Wednesday, for the first time - Crandon won the sectional. By capturing, the D3 sectional in Shiocton, Crandon earned their first trip to the state meet.

Late Wednesday night, the victorious Cardinals were given a police escort. Dozens of fans both on the street and in cars cheered the team as they passed by.

Crandon will play at University Ridge in Madison June 9-10 for the state meet.
